Ukraine originally adopted this flag in 1918. It fell into disuse during the Soviet Era and was readopted in 1992. Blue represents the sky and yellow symbolizes the countries golden wheat fields. Ukraine celebrates Flag Day each year on August 23.
This flag is made from durable 200-Denier nylon that has been treated to resist fading. The flag is finished with a 3 in. , flannel-lined pole hem with Velcro hang tab and bordered with gold rayon fringe. Its image is dyed, single-sided, and reversed on the back. This flag is suitable for indoor or parade use.
