At least as early as the first decades of the 20th century, a series of special signal flags had been adopted for use by yachts to convey certain messages. A plain white flag at the starboard main spreader says the owner is at the dinner table. Only flown in daylight hours while not under way.
Seaworthy nylon flag in rich, durable colors, ideal for marine use.
