Product Description
The Service Flag was designed by Capt. R. L. Queisser and copyrighted in 1917. The copyright has since passed to the US Dept. of Defense, which regulates its sale and manufacture. Organizations and businesses may also display the Service Flag if they have members serving in the Armed Forces. This standard is displayed by family members of four persons serving in the Armed Forces during a period of war.
The background is white with a red border on all four sides. They are available with 1, 2, 3 or 4 blue stars to represent active duty family members
It may be flown as a traditional flag beneath the US flag.
Finished with white canvas heading and brass grommets.
