Project Blue Light Illinois is a non-profit charity that honors fallen police officers. They help raise awareness of fallen officers by encouraging communities to place a blue light outside of their home or business. Take a look at their Facebook page here.

Project Blue Light Illinois has reached out to the FlagCenter.com, LLC to collect donated items for a silent auction. Proceeds will contribute to a screening of Heroes Behind the Badge: Sacrifice & Survival, a documentary about officers caught in the line of fire and survived and those who made the ultimate sacrifice. They are also teaming up with Below 100, an officer safety training group, who will be offering free training to officers to teach them steps that could help save their own lives.

It is said that they are able to provide this event free of charge for up to 300 officers. The FlagCenter.com is proud to contribute to the success of this event. You may or may not know that the FlagCenter.com is the home of the Thin Blue Line Flag, a flag made specifically to honor police officers. The FlagCenter.com, LLC was happy to donate one of our popular K-9 Thin Blue Line Flags and also a Thin Blue Line Garden Flag to this charity event.
