Product Description
1/4 Inch Wire Center is typically used for residential flagpoles 30 feet tall and smaller. For commercial poles please order 5/16 Inch rope listed on our website.
Only recommended for flagpoles up to and including 30 ft! Some 30 ft flagpoles may take 5/16 inch rope, so please call us to make sure you order the correct size.
Rope for flagpoles is unique.
Wire center with Polyester (white) or multifilament polypropylene (colored) jacket.
Tensile strength on the stainless steel wire center is 920 lbs.
Strength is higher in combination with the polyester braid.
Longer lengths available upon request. Give us a call to order.
Rope that is cut to order is not refundable.
Please call us if you need a longer length in rope than what we have listed.
1/4 inch wire rope is approx roundness of a #2 wooden pencil. If you feel your rope is larger than that, then review our 5/16 inch rope selection.

Excellent product
One thing should be note on order rope for flag pole is order rope for correct length flag pole should be note is don't get extra for tie it off should have gotten longer rope for tie off.

1/4 white rope with wire
I just finished the installation this morning and couldn't be happier with the rope. In joining the 2 ends, I overlapped them 6 inches, used 4 small tie wraps, put a small bead of gorilla glue along the seam and then encased it all with 1/2 inch diameter white shrink tubing. Worked great.

Heavy Duty
I bought this for a 30 ft commercial flagpole and was looking for something that would provide good service life. Rope is very rigid at first. I would also recommend the rope clamps for wrapping around the cleat.

This flagpole halyard replacement is tough as nails and will last a long time! A little stiff and hard to tie off or cut but that’s the trade off. Shipped super fast and exactly what I ordered.
